WASWUG is a great way to earn Clock Hours, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits, and Continuing Education Units (CEU).
How Do Clock Hours Work?
Clock hours are for educators in the State of Washington who want to earn continuing education. They can use them for salary advancement or to renew their teacher's certificate. If you are in doubt as to what kind you have, you should contact your Certification Specialist at your ESD or talk to your School District's Human Resources Department for information.

During the Conference
You must attend sessions during the conference (March 9-11) to receive credit.
Sign-in sheets will be available at the WASWUG Info desk each morning. You must sign the sheet each day to qualify for Clock Hours.
Evaluation
Following the conference, you will receive an automated email from ESD 113 requesting that you complete an evaluation (allow up to 20 days to receive your email). Once you complete the evaluation, you will be given the opportunity to purchase Clock Hours for attending WASWUG. It is your responsibility to keep a record of your Clock Hours and to contact Capital Region ESD 113 at 360-464-6700 to correct inaccuracies.
Fees for Clock Hours
Clock Hour Fee = $3 per Clock Hour + $5 processing fee per participant. All Clock Hours must be purchased within 90 days. After 90 days, a late fee of 20% will be added. After you complete the survey and purchase Clock Hours, you can print an Official Proof of Clock Hour Form and an unofficial Clock Hour transcript.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits for CPAs
WASWUG is pleased to qualify as an acceptable CPE program for Certified Public Accountants. You must attend sessions during the conference (March 9-11) to receive CPE credit.
Attendees must sign in and out each day at the WASWUG Info desk. CPE sign-in sheets and verification packets will be available at the WASWUG Info desk each morning.
For each session you attend, you must ask the presenter to complete a Verification Form.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to report CPE to the Board of Accountancy.
If you require a Certificate of Completion for attending WASWUG, it will be available for you to download upon completion of the session evaluation survey. A link to the survey will be available on the WASWUG app and will also be sent to your email address following the conference.
NOTE: You cannot receive CPE credit for session recordings you watch after the conference.
Continuing Education Units (CEU)
A Certificate of Completion will be available for you to download upon completion of the session evaluation survey. A link to the survey will be available on the WASWUG app and will also be sent to your email address following the conference. For each session you participated in during the conference (March 9-11), you will rate the content and presenters. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your certificate, which you can then print. This certificate does not provide you with Clock Hours or CPE, but does provide proof that you attended WASWUG.
Important! If you require a Proof of Participation certificate only, you must complete the Feedback Survey which is available on the WASWUG Attendee Hub platform or on the WASWUG App. The survey will close on Friday, March 28.
