Building on 18 years of experience in the K-12 education community, Lindsay focuses on the people side of change, helping schools and organizations successfully adopt new processes, systems and structures. Passionate about operational excellence, she partners with educational organizations statewide to build capacity for effective change management. Lindsay’s work supports WSIPC’s mission to empower schools through innovative technology and strategic change.
Meet Kristen Johansen
Pre-Conference Workshop Speaker
Kristen Johansen is a Change Practitioner at WSIPC, where she utilizes Prosci research and methodology to support district migration projects. With a rich background in education—as a high school teacher, district facilitator, and mentor—Kristen brings expertise in learning, collaboration, and human-centered practices. She works closely with colleagues across the state to develop tools that help districts be more aware of the impact of change and to navigate it more effectively. At WASWUG 2026, Kristen will co-present on the human side of change, sharing practical strategies for navigating impact, building effective teams, and leading with purpose.
